Constitution

The Club's Constitution allows the Club to run in a fair, transparent and democratic manner and meets the requirements for incorporation of an association.  The Constitution was adopted by the Club on 27 June 2003.

Membership

To become a member of the Club, you will need to fill out the Membership Form and pay the annual fee.   There are two membership classes - Active and Associate.  Some of the benefits of becoming a member of the Club include injury indemnity, voting rights, subsidised training and tournament registration fees, social events, just to name a few!

Fees and Costs

Playing on Thursday nights costs $6.00. Your first night is free and you will be required to become a member of the Club after three visits. The annual membership cost is $20.00 for active members, $15 for unemployed members and students, and $5.00 for associate members.  

Committee

The management committee is responsible for running the Club in accordance with its Aims and the Constitution.

Affiliation

ASVC became affiliated with Team Adelaide (the umbrella association representing gay sports in SA) in 2005, and are seeking official affiliation with Volleyball SA (peak volleyball  association in SA) in 2006.  Late in 2005 we also took up the offer of free membership with GLISA (the international organiser of the Out Games), and have attended inaugural meetings to form GLAPSA (the regional Asian Pacific arm of GLISA) in 2006.
